How to withdraw from an XM account
A withdrawal is a request to send money out of a live XM login to a destination XM allows for that profile. It is not the deposit form run backwards. Open positions, pending review, or a method mismatch can stop the request even when the balance looks large enough.
Only the live cabinet can start a payout
Log into the member area and open withdraw, payout, or the label XM uses. Choose the live login that holds the funds. Demo figures cannot be paid out. The MT4 or MT5 ticket does not submit a bank transfer.
Same person, often the same rail
Payouts usually must return to a method and a name XM already saw on the way in. Asking for a third-party wallet or a different person’s card is a common refusal. If the form offers only one destination, that is the constraint — not a missing button on this site.
Free margin is not the same as withdrawable
The terminal can show equity while trades or pending orders still reserve margin. Close or reduce exposure if XM requires a free amount before it will accept the request. This page does not tell you a minimum.
After you press submit
Cabinet history should show a pending or processing row. That is not money already in your bank. Do not open a second request for the same amount unless the first row is marked failed or cancelled. Timing is set by XM and the payment rail, not by this article.
When the button is missing or grey
Unfinished document review, a first deposit that never posted, or a compliance hold can hide withdraw. Finish the items XM lists. The verification and deposits guides cover inbound and identity steps; they do not replace the payout form.

Common questions
Can I withdraw demo profit?
No. Demo units are simulated. Only a live credit that XM accepted can be requested out.
Can I send the payout to a different name?
Usually no. Follow the destination list on XM’s form. Third-party payouts are commonly blocked.
Why is withdraw slower than deposit?
Outbound checks and rails differ. This page does not publish hours. Read the status text XM places next to the request.
Does a closed trade instantly become withdrawable?
Not always. Settlement, holds, or bonus conditions — if XM applied any — can delay the available amount.
