How to deposit to an XM account
A deposit is money moving into a live XM account from a method XM lists for you. It is not a demo top-up and it is not the same screen as a withdrawal. Until the member area shows a funded live login, the terminal cannot trade your own money.
Start from the member-area funding page
Open the official XM cabinet and look for deposit, funding, or a similar label. Pick the live account you intend to credit. Demo balances are simulated and do not accept this form.
Only use methods XM enables for your profile and country. A card or wallet that works for someone else may be hidden or rejected for you.
Name, currency, and destination login
The paying name should match the account holder XM already reviewed, if review is required before funding. Sending from a third party is a common reason a transfer sits or comes back.
Confirm the currency of the transfer against the currency of that live login. A mismatch can delay credit or convert at a rate XM applies — this page does not quote that rate.
What “submitted” means
A confirmation on the form means XM received the request or the payment provider accepted a session. It does not mean the trade server already shows the new balance. Refresh the cabinet history rather than retrying the same payment immediately.
If the first deposit is blocked
Many profiles must finish document review before the first inbound transfer posts. If the form is locked, open the verification guide and complete what XM still lists as missing. Do not invent a side channel.
Deposits are not withdrawals
Sending money in does not create a right to send the same method out on the same day, and it does not set a payout time. Outbound steps, same-method rules, and holds live on the withdrawals page.

Can I deposit into a demo?
No. Demo uses simulated funds. Open or use a live login if XM offers one after their checks.
Which method is fastest?
This page does not rank methods. Use the list and any time hints XM shows on the form for your profile.
Why did the balance not change?
The provider or XM may still be posting. Check cabinet history. Repeat only if that screen says the first attempt failed.
